Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao today inaugurated smart class rooms in 28 government schools of Lormi development block of Mungeli. He formally inaugurated all the smart class rooms in a program organized at Government Higher Secondary School, Baigakapa of Lormi development block. He saw the facilities of study and teaching in the smart class rooms and appreciated the technical equipment installed for this. These smart class rooms have been built in schools with the cooperation of HDFC Bank and ARO Foundation.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, while inaugurating the smart class-room, said that smart class-rooms will increase children’s interest in studies and their ability to learn. Through this, they will be able to understand their subjects better. At present, it is necessary to connect schools in rural areas with new and effective techniques of study and teaching. Addressing the school children, he said that this smart class-room is made for you people. All students should make good use of it and strengthen their grip on the subjects. He congratulated and wished on the inauguration of the smart class-room.
Addressing the program organized at Baigakapa Higher Secondary School, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Saw said that the use of digital technologies is being increased in schools to provide good education to the children. This initiative of smart class-room with the support of HDFC Bank and ARO Foundation will be very useful for the students. He thanked both the organizations for this. Lormi Nagar Palika Chairman Mr. Sujit Verma, Mungeli District Panchayat member Mrs. Anita Sahu and Lormi Janpad Panchayat Chairman Mrs. Varsha Vikram Singh Thakur along with many public representatives and dignitaries were present in the program in large numbers.
