Vice President Sharma said that BJP’s state in-charge Naveen is in touch with every party worker. He reached every corner of the state and strengthened the organization and the Congress had to face a crushing defeat. He said that Bhupesh Baghel is unable to digest the continuous defeat, so he is making absurd statements. The public has punished the former Chief Minister for his actions. He should introspect and instead of losing his temper in panic, he should admit his mistakes and improve.
Shivratan Sharma said that Bhupesh Baghel has not only become unpopular and irrelevant among the public but now no one is ready to tolerate him even within the Congress. Recently, Leader of Opposition Mahant has openly challenged his leadership. Baghel, who has now lost his political ground badly, should now leave politics.
He said that despite coming to power with an overwhelming majority, the former Chief Minister lost the trust of the people due to his actions, corruption, breach of promises and incompetence. His unnecessary statements also ruined the Congress. Such statements will destroy whatever little support Congress has left. Shivratan Sharma said that BJP workers will not tolerate baseless and unnecessary statements about their in-charge. He has expected from the leaders in Congress that they will all explain to the former Chief Minister.
