Raipur. Raipur MP Brijmohan Agrawal today resigned from the post of minister a day after resigning from the MLA post. Agrawal submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai after the cabinet meeting.
Before this, after becoming an MP, Brijmohan Agrawal submitted his resignation to the Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh on Monday. During this time, many leaders including MLA Ajay Chandrakar, MLA Purandar Mishra, Anuj Sharma, former MP Sunil Soni were present.
After resigning, Brijmohan Agrawal said, I am starting a new innings. I will keep getting your love and affection. I apologize to the people of Raipur South. I have to leave the post of MLA with a new responsibility. I will keep raising issues of public interest in Parliament. I do not regret not being able to become a minister at the Centre.
