, Janjgir Champa. The theft of Rs 2.5 lakh from a country liquor shop located in Bodsara village of the district has created a stir in the area. The incident happened on Friday night. On receiving information about the incident, the SP along with Naila police reached the spot and inspected the spot. The CCTV footage of the liquor shop is being investigated. The police is interrogating two personnel deployed for the security of the shop.
The security personnel deployed for the liquor shop slept inside the compound and the criminals looted the liquor shop. The courage of the criminals in Janjgir Champa district is so high that even after the deployment of security personnel, they are not refraining from committing theft. The police have registered a case and started the investigation. The forensic team along with dog squad, finger print expert have reached the spot and started the investigation.
Police questioning security personnel
Kotwali police station in-charge Praveen Dwivedi said that after receiving information about theft in a liquor shop in Bodsara village, the police team reached the spot. During investigation, the wire of the CCTV camera of the liquor shop was found cut. Friday’s sale amount of Rs 2.5 lakh has been stolen from the liquor shop. They have also taken away the locker. In this case, the security personnel of the liquor shop are being questioned, and other CCTV cameras are also being searched.
