Raipur: 13 children of Prayas secured place in merit list

Prayas’ students performed brilliantly in the 10th board results declared. The exam result was 100%

“Who says there can’t be a hole in the sky, throw a stone with all your might, friends” This saying has been proved true today by the children of Prayas Residential School through their hard work and dedication. 

It is definitely a big achievement that 13 students of Prayas have got merit in the 10th board exam results declared by the Board of Secondary Education for the academic session 2024-25. The overall result of the 10th board exam has been 100 percent, in which 98.35 percent of the students have passed the exam in first division. On the success of these students, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Principal Secretary Shri Sonamni Vora and Commissioner Dr. Sarashan Mittal have congratulated them and wished them a bright future.

Especially when these children come from very ordinary backgrounds and most of them belong to Naxal-affected areas. They have achieved great success on the basis of their hard work, strong willpower, strict discipline of the school and good guidance given by the teachers. Now their dreams have got wings. Some of them aim to become IAS, some want to become IPS, some want to become doctor, some want to become engineer and some want to become CA. 

The students who made it to the top 10 say that they did not have such a passion for studies before joining Prayas Vidyalaya. After coming here, they have achieved this success due to the good environment of the school, guidance and encouragement given by good teachers and their hard work. 

Minister Shri Netam said on the success of these students that due to good exam results of Prayas schools and strong candidature in competitive examinations, it is now counted among the best schools of the state. The continuously increasing number of children in the pre-examination examination for admission in Prayas Vidyalaya is an example of this. The minister said that in view of the success of Prayas Vidyalaya, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has approved opening one new Prayas residential school each in Rajnandgaon and Balrampur. With this, the number of Prayas schools will increase to 17.

Achieved the goal with hard work – 13 students in top 10 of class 10th 

In the examination results declared by the Board of Secondary Education, 13 students of Prayas have secured a place in the merit. Among the students who got into the merit, the maximum number of students are from Prayas Girls Residential School, Gudhiyari, Raipur. Five students of this school – Khushboo Sen secured 8th, Mahak Chandravanshi secured 9th, Anjali Sahu, Neha Chakradhari and Kavya Verma secured 10th position in the merit. Similarly, Jatin Nareti of Prayas Joint Residential School, Kanker secured 5th, David Gawade secured 6th, Khushboo Barik and Diya Chauhan of Prayas, Ambikapur secured 10th each, while Bittu Kushwaha of Prayas, Durg secured 9th, Ms. Dimple of Prayas, Korba secured 10th, Stuti Pandey of Prayas, Jashpur secured 8th and Bhumika Sahu of Prayas, Balod secured 10th. Thus, a total of 13 students have brought laurels to the school and the state by securing a place in the top ten. 

It is noteworthy that the Prayas Yojana is an important component of the Chief Minister’s Bal Bhavishya Suraksha Yojana. Under the scheme, the main objective of this scheme is to provide quality education to talented students of the Naxal-affected area of ​​Chhattisgarh state, enable them to succeed in various competitive examinations and provide them stability in life by getting them admitted to professional higher educational institutions.
