With the aim of providing quality fertilizers and seeds to farmers, the administration has started investigation proceedings in Ambikapur. On the instructions of Collector Shri Vilas Bhoskar, a joint team of Agriculture and Revenue Department conducted a surprise inspection of various fertilizer sales centers in the city. During this, irregularities were found in two establishments located on Raigarh Road, M/s Vijay Trading Company and Shankar Trading Company. During the inspection, excess fertilizer storage and sale was found in both the shops. Due to this, show cause notices were issued to the concerned shopkeepers and along with calling for answers, the sale of fertilizers kept against the rules has been banned with immediate effect and they have been seized. Deputy Director Agriculture Shri Pitambar Singh Diwan, Tehsildar Shri Umesh Baj, Shri Jayendra Singh, Naib Tehsildar Shri Lakheshwar Sidar, Assistant Director Agriculture Shri Abhishek Jha and other officials were involved in this investigation action
