The government showed sensitivity, teachers expressed confidence

A delegation of B.Ed. trained sacked assistant teachers paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence office today. This delegation was continuously agitating for 126 days and after today’s cordial meeting and discussion, they announced to end their agitation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while interacting with the teachers, said that all of you are members of our family. Your pain is our pain. Understanding your problems, the government is considering this matter seriously with sympathy. He assured that every possible positive effort is being made at the government level to resolve this matter.
After meeting Chief Minister Shri Sai, the teachers have decided to end the agitation keeping in mind the sensitivity of the government.
Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri P. Dayanand, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Shri Rahul Bhagat, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Basavaraju S were present on the occasion.
