Chief Minister held a meeting with officials of Balod, Narayanpur and Kanker districts

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today reviewed the current status of implementation of government schemes by holding a meeting of officials of Balod, Narayanpur and Kanker districts in the meeting hall of the Joint District Office, Balod under Sushasan Tihaar. On this occasion, the Chief Minister expected all the officials to play an active role in realizing the vision of developed Chhattisgarh by working with dedication and responsibility.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under the third phase of Sushasan Tihar, various areas of the state are being continuously inspected and the actual progress of the schemes is being evaluated by holding meetings with officials. He said that the positive feedback received from the general public is proof of the fact that the benefits of the work done by the state government in the last one and a half years have reached the last person in the society.

Linking cleanliness with public participation, Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the officers to work with special interest towards cleanliness and ensure prompt resolution of cleanliness related applications received during Sushasan Tihar. He said that the positive impact of Swachh Bharat Mission started by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is being reflected across the state.

The Chief Minister directed the officials to regularly visit and inspect the construction and development works as well as work for quick solution of public problems. The Chief Minister expressed the need to motivate farmers to adopt crop rotation. He directed to prepare necessary strategy to promote sugarcane in Balod district and pulses-oilseeds crops in Kanker and Narayanpur districts.

Emphasizing on the resolution of revenue matters, the Chief Minister said that unnecessary delays cause discontent among the public. He directed to ensure regular dates of Revenue Court at district and tehsil level and timely resolution of all pending cases. Revenue officials were also directed to complete the demarcation work before the monsoon. The Chief Minister directed to promote livelihood activities, focus special attention on Drone Didi program and complete infrastructure development works with quality and within the time limit.

The Chief Minister directed for quick redressal of the applications received regarding income, caste and residence certificates and to organize special camps to provide necessary certificates especially to the students.

Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed dissatisfaction over the examination results of Balod district and directed to adopt corrective measures immediately. He stressed the need for 100% implementation of centrally sponsored schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also shared information about the construction of 400/220/132 KV high pressure substations at Deori and Dondilohara in Balod district at a cost of Rs 500 crore and road from Junwani to Chikhli at a cost of Rs 11.47 crore.

Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Basavaraju S., Commissioner of Durg Division Mr. Satya Narayan Rathore, Commissioner of Bastar Division Mr. Doman Singh, Balod Collector Mrs. Divya Umesh Mishra, Kanker Collector Mr. Nilesh Kshirsagar, Narayanpur Collector Mrs. Pratishtha Mamgai, Superintendent of Police of the concerned district and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
