The rain of gifts brought smiles on the faces of the villagers

Under Sushasan Tihaar, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai held a public dialogue by organizing a Chaupal in the BSF camp premises in village Basing in Orchha block of Narayanpur district today. Sitting on a cot under the shade of a neem tree, the Chief Minister not only listened to the problems of the villagers, but also won the hearts of the people by announcing gifts worth more than one crore rupees on the spot.
Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Mr. Kedar Kashyap, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain and Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Mr. Subodh Singh were also present with Chief Minister Mr. Sai in the Chaupal. Chief Minister Mr. Sai said that from April 8, he himself is visiting the areas to know the real status of public dialogue and implementation of schemes under Sushasan Tihar in the entire state.
During the Chaupal, the villagers welcomed the Chief Minister by making him wear a traditional turban and a plume. The young women who received training in the summer camp presented handmade bouquets. The Chief Minister felicitated the meritorious students of class 10th and encouraged the half marathon winner student. The Chief Minister reviewed the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and said that no eligible woman will be deprived of this scheme. Villagers Smt. Maheshwari Dugga and Smt. Mankay shared the benefits of the scheme and thanked the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister said clearly on the Naxal problem that with the cooperation of the people of Abujhmad region, the national resolve to end Naxalism will be fulfilled by March 2026. He described the rehabilitation policy made for surrendered Naxalites as the best policy of the country. During this, the Chief Minister provided keys, cheques and cash assistance to the beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, MNREGA, Noni Empowerment, Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana. He also handed over a wheelchair to a disabled beneficiary.
On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister announced Rs. 20 lakh for culvert construction in Murhapdar, Rs. 20 lakh for repair of playground and Bal Ashram/school in Basing, Rs. 24 lakh for Anganwadi Bhawan in Murhapdar and Ehnaar, Rs. 25 lakh for CC road from Haat Bazar to Basti in Basing, Rs. 15 lakh for new Ghotul in Kundla, Basing and Murhapdar. Besides this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated 250 seater hostel building, water supply and electrification works constructed by the Tribal Development Department in Orchha at a cost of Rs. 8 crore.
