Communicated with villagers with intimacy, discussed with beneficiaries
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai announced Rs 3.90 crore

Under the last phase of Sushasan Tihar, today the helicopter of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai landed in village Mandri of Kanker (North Bastar) district. He set up his chaupal under the Panchayat shed and interacted with the villagers and took feedback on the schemes.
On the demand of the villagers, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai announced approval of Rs. 20 lakh for construction of high school boundary wall in Mandari, approval of Rs. 5 lakh for boundary wall in Mandari Anganwadi Center building, approval of Rs. 15 lakh for construction of 600 meter CC road from Salhebhant main road to Tiru Salam’s house, approval of Rs. 3.50 crore for extension of line for irrigation in fields from Jhura Nala.
While talking to the villagers, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that we have worked in the interest of the public in the last one and a half years. Sushasan Tihaar is our report card as well as an opportunity to evaluate the work done by the government. Through this, we are knowing the status of implementation of public welfare schemes on the ground. Apart from us, ministers, MPs, MLAs, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary and other senior officials are also participating in Sushasan Tihaar.
Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that as soon as the government took oath, the cabinet approved 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under the guarantee of Prime Minister Modi. The Chief Minister said that all the needy will get housing, those whose names are in ‘Awas Plus’ will also be given housing. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the door to economic prosperity and women empowerment has been opened by giving the amount of ‘Mahatari Vandan Yojana’ directly to the accounts of more than 70 lakh women. Those beneficiaries who are still deprived will also be added.
The Chief Minister informed that Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been started in Gram Panchayats from 24 April. This will provide the villagers the facility of banking and other services in the village itself. Currently, this service has been started in 1460 Panchayats. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the government is closing all the avenues of corruption with the use of technology. The process of name transfer along with registry has been simplified with the new process of registration.
To know the reality of the schemes
, Chief Minister Shri Sai, who suddenly arrived at village Mandari, talked to the villagers in Chhattisgarhi. The Chief Minister took information from the beneficiaries about the electricity system, ration distribution and the amount of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. On this occasion, beneficiary Itwarin Achala told that she is depositing the amount received under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana by opening an account in the name of her daughter in Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. Chief Minister Shri Sai assured the villagers that the government stands with every needy person and public welfare is the top priority of the government.
On this occasion, Kanker MLA Shri Asha Ram Netam, District Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Kiran Nureti, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Subodh Singh, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Basav Raju S., Bastar Commissioner Shri Doman Singh, DIG Shri Amit Kamle, Collector Shri Nilesh Kshirsagar, Superintendent of Police Shri Indra Kalyan Elesela along with other public representatives and officials were present. In the program, the Chief Minister released the book “Nayi Disha” prepared by the district administration for the preparation of youth for competitive examinations and distributed it to the youth. Along with this, material, house keys, tricycles etc. were distributed to the beneficiaries of public welfare schemes of various departments.
