Education is the real capital of life: Chief Minister Shri Sai

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has said that “Education is the real capital of life. Life is incomplete without it. It is not only a means of employment, but also the basis of overall development.” He was addressing the inauguration program of additional room constructed at the cost of Rs 29.90 lakh in the District Library at Mungeli District Headquarters this morning. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Union Minister of State Shri Tokhan Sahu, Mungeli MLA Shri Punnulal Mohle and former MP Shri Lakhan Sahu were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Sai, while interacting with the students in the program, mentioned the five qualities of an ideal student “Kaak Cheshta Bako Dhyan, Shvan Nidra Tathaiv Cha. Alpahari Grihtyagi, Vidyarthi Panch Lakshanam” and inspired the students to become disciplined, hardworking and goal-oriented. In response to a question asked by a student on the impact of social media, he said, in the digital age, adopt goodness and stay away from evil. Sharing the struggles of his student life, Shri Sai told that educational opportunities were limited in the undivided Raigarh district. Natwar School was the only option. He called upon the students to make good use of time, never get disappointed and make hard work their basic mantra.

The Chief Minister praised educational innovations like ‘Prayas’ and ‘Nalanda Campus’ and said that the government aims to establish modern libraries in every district. Praising the Mungeli District Library, he said that this library has become the foundation of success for hundreds of youth so far. He described it as a success center, not just a place of study. The Chief Minister said in the program that the library has become the foundation of success for hundreds of youth. Students who performed well in the 10th and 12th board examinations were honoured with mementos and certificates. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was also presented with a handmade photograph of his portrait by Top Singh Kumbhakar, Bhagwad Gita and other mementos.

It is worth mentioning that the district library currently has a collection of more than 4780 books, 893 registered members, 32 tables, 11 CCTV cameras. State Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Secretary Mr. P. Dayanand along with many senior administrative officers, teachers and a large number of students were present in the program.
