Governor Shri Ramen Deka planted an Amla plant in Eklavya Vidyalaya, boosted the enthusiasm of students by interacting with them

Governor Shri Ramen Deka planted amla saplings in the Eklavya Adarsh Residential School campus of Podi Uparoda development block under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. Underlining the importance of environmental protection, he appealed to the people to plant as many trees as possible so that the earth can be made green and life-giving.

On this occasion, Governor Shri Deka interacted with the students of Eklavya Vidyalaya and Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) operating in the campus. While introducing himself to the students, he gave them the message to study diligently and keep working hard to achieve success in life.

Governor Shri Deka took detailed information from the principal of Eklavya Vidyalaya about the number of students in the institution, availability of teachers and teaching system. He also got information about the trades run in ITI and discussed their self-employment and employment possibilities.
During this, Collector Shri Ajay Vasant and other administrative officers were present.

MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat, Sunil Soni, Motilal Sahu and Purandar Mishra and Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey also attended the seminar-cum-prize distribution ceremony organized at Naveen Vishram Bhawan. Addressing the school and college students and their parents present in the program, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that Rani Ahilyabai Holkar was a very brave, patient, capable and courageous woman. Due to these qualities, she faced the struggles and problems in her life with courage. She discharged her duties as a protector of her subjects with full ability and efficiency. Apart from the work of governance, she was also proficient in war skills. Her entire life is very inspiring for all of us. Addressing the seminar as the keynote speaker, former Deputy Speaker of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly Shri Narayan Chandel said that Rani Ahilyabai Holkar was an extraordinary woman born in an ordinary family. Through her works, she earned the status of Veerangna, Lokmata and Rajmata. During her reign, she discharged her responsibilities towards the state and the people well. She established new standards of good governance and philanthropy. 300 years ago, she worked to ensure drinking water and groundwater recharge. While motivating the students present in the program, Mr. Chandel said that the biography of every successful person should be read. The lives of people who reach the top should be studied. He said that there is no need to be distracted by failure. The secret of success is hidden in failure itself. Mayor Mrs. Meenal Chaubey said in her welcome address in the program that Queen Ahilyabai Holkar was a person of all virtues, a well-wisher of the people and a just ruler. We can learn a lot from her glorious life. Mayor Mrs. Chaubey informed that essay and painting competitions were organized in different categories by Raipur Municipal Corporation to bring various aspects of Rani Ahilyabai Holkar’s life in front of children and youth. In the painting competition, 27 children participated in the senior category and 83 in the junior category. In essay writing, 40 participants participated in the senior category and 58 in the junior category. A total of 208 students from various schools and colleges participated in both the competitions. Raipur Municipal Corporation Chairman Mr. Suryakant Rathore, Commissioner Mr. Vishwadeep, Culture Department Chairman Mr. Amar Gidwani, MIC members, zone presidents and councilors along with the participating students of both the competitions and their parents were present in large numbers in the program.
