Governor Shri Ramen Deka planted amla saplings in the Eklavya Adarsh Residential School campus of Podi Uparoda development block under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign. Underlining the importance of environmental protection, he appealed to the people to plant as many trees as possible so that the earth can be made green and life-giving.
On this occasion, Governor Shri Deka interacted with the students of Eklavya Vidyalaya and Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) operating in the campus. While introducing himself to the students, he gave them the message to study diligently and keep working hard to achieve success in life.
Governor Shri Deka took detailed information from the principal of Eklavya Vidyalaya about the number of students in the institution, availability of teachers and teaching system. He also got information about the trades run in ITI and discussed their self-employment and employment possibilities.
During this, Collector Shri Ajay Vasant and other administrative officers were present.
