The road network is being strengthened in Chhattisgarh. Along with new roads, the work of widening and strengthening old roads is also being done in the state. Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma and Lok Sabha MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal today performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Padkidih- Ravan- Hirmi road in Balodabazar district. The construction of this 15 km long road will facilitate the movement of people of many nearby villages. The widening and strengthening work of this road will be done at a cost of approximately 33 crores.

Revenue Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, all-round development work is being done in the state. Basic facilities are being developed rapidly in rural and urban areas. He said that along with the widening and strengthening of Padkidih-Ravan-Hirmi road, work will also be done to construct 3 bridges and drains on both sides of the road in the colony area. On this occasion, MP Brijmohan Agarwal announced Rs 25 lakh for construction of community hall in village Rabeli, Rs 5 lakh each for construction of Mukti Dham and CC road.

 MP Shri Agarwal said that the government is working towards strengthening basic facilities like drinking water, roads, electricity, health, education. With the resolution of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to develop India by 2047, the country, state and villages will also develop. He said that now under Jal Jeevan Mission, clean drinking water is being provided through taps in every home. In the coming 5 years, there will be unprecedented development in road and rail routes in Balodabazar-Bhatapara district.

On this occasion, Municipal Council President Ashok Jain, District President Simga Daulat Pal, District Panchayat Member Mohan Lal Verma, Women Commission Member Laxmi Verma, State Vice President of Scout-Guide Vijay Kesharwani, Sarpanch Saroj Sahu along with local public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
