National level institutions are being established to strengthen the education sector in Chhattisgarh

Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary, while interacting with school children at Shala Pravesh Utsav, said that studying only for a degree is not enough, but practical knowledge and life-useful skills are the keys to real success. He said that only those students who are eager to learn continuously move ahead in life. Shri Choudhary today participated in the district-level Shala Pravesh Utsav organized at Natwar English Medium School in District Headquarters Raigarh. In the program, he distributed books and uniforms to the newly admitted children and wished them all the best for the new academic session.
Finance Minister Shri Chaudhary, while recalling his school education, told how the advice of writing after understanding and not by rote changed the direction of his thinking and expression. This habit became a strong foundation for him to prepare for the Indian Administrative Service. He said that his life is an example of how high a person can reach through education. Coming from a small village Byang, first becoming a collector and today holding the responsibility of the Finance Minister of the state is proof of this.
The Finance Minister said that the state government is emphasizing on the establishment of national level institutions to strengthen the education sector. Recently, Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has laid the foundation stone of the National Forensic Science University in Nava Raipur. Institutions like IIT, IIM, NIT, Triple IT, CIPET, NIFT and Hidayatullah National Law University are already operating in the state.
The Finance Minister said that Nalanda Library Network is being established to guide the students and improve study resources. The state’s largest Nalanda Library is going to be built in Raigarh, where Prayas Sanstha is also being operated. He called upon the students to take maximum advantage of these resources and realize their dreams with hard work.
Lok Sabha MP Shri Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Devendra Pratap Singh, Mayor Shri Jeevardhan Chauhan also motivated the students in the programme. Many public representatives, teachers and a large number of students were present on this occasion.
