Raipur: Review of implementation of demands of Sarva Adivasi Samaj: During discussion with Chief Minister, Sarva Adivasi Samaj had submitted a memorandum

Raipur 12 November 2021. A memorandum regarding various demands was submitted on 24, 27, 28 and 29 September 2021 by the delegation of tribal society who came from different districts after meeting Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. In connection with the progress of action being taken by the concerned departments regarding the fulfillment of these demands, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain today took a meeting of the departments. Especially all the Divisional Commissioners, Collectors Bastar, Narayanpur, Kanker, Dhamtari, Balod, Rajnandgaon, Mahasamund, Gariaband attended the meeting through video conferencing.

The Chief Secretary has directed the officers of the department related to the demands that the demands of the Sarva Adivasi Samaj, which have been fulfilled, must be given to the concerned applicants through letters. Also, in relation to the demands in respect of which the situation is not clear, information about the situation should be obtained by correspondence with the applicants and discussion with the local public representatives. Shri Jain has said that the applicants should also be informed about the implementation of the announcements made by the Chief Minister of the state during various occasions. In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Panchayat and Rural Development Department Smt. Renu Pillay, Secretary Mineral and Public Works Department Shri Siddhartha Komal Pardeshi, Secretary Revenue Shri Neelam Namdev Ekka along with Secretary level officers of other departments gave detailed information about the progress of implementation of demands and announcements related to their department through video conferencing. Secretary, General Administration, Tribal and Scheduled Development Department, Shri DD Singh, Secretary, School Education Department, Dr. Kamalpreet Singh and senior officers of various departments were present in the meeting.
