Announcement of 20 lakh rupees for construction of social building in Balod
Chief Minister attended the ceremony of women district presidents and talent award of Sen Samaj

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the Sen community is a progressive community, it has a glorious history. The contribution of this community in our social, economic, cultural field is incomparable. This community is making a significant contribution in the progress and development of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Sai was addressing the Women District Presidents and Pratibha Samman Samaroh of Sen community organized in the capital Raipur today. On this occasion, he announced approval of Rs 20 lakh for the social building of Sen community in Balod city. The program was inaugurated by the Chief Minister by paying homage to the oil painting of Sen Maharaj and lighting a lamp.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further said in the program that education is very important for change in any society. Today, there is a need to advance women in the field of education in the society. When a woman is educated, the whole family benefits from it. A strong society can be built only by an empowered woman and a strong nation can be built by an empowered society. Our government firmly believes that women are the foundation of building a society. The Chief Minister mentioned in detail the contribution of many people including the talents of the Sen community in various fields, including late Shri Karpuri Thakur ji. He said that the Sen community is taking meaningful steps to remove social anomalies, it is a matter of happiness. Our government is ready to provide all possible support for the development and upliftment of the Sen community.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our government is implementing various schemes to strengthen the economic condition of the farmers of the state. Many schemes have been started for women, which are helping in making the women of the state economically empowered. After our government came to power, we implemented the Mahtari Vandan Yojana included in Modi’s guarantee. Today 70 lakh women of the state are benefiting from it. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, our government has provided economic independence to the mothers and sisters of Chhattisgarh, so that they can play a strong role in their family and society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai further said that the aim of starting the Centre-run Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme is to improve the sex ratio, promote girl education and develop a positive attitude towards women in society. Our daughters are our pride. Through the Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme, we are ensuring their education and safety. MLA Shri Purandar Mishra and Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Shri Sanjay Srivastava also addressed the program.
On this occasion, talented students, artists and women social workers of Sen Samaj were honoured by presenting them with shawls and mementoes. Chhattisgarh State Hair Shilp Kalyan Board President Ms. Mona Sen, Chhattisgarh Sarva Sen Samaj State President Mr. Puneet Sen and a large number of social friends were present in the programme.
