Schools will remain closed from 25 April to 15 June

Taking a sensitive decision in the interest of school children, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has asked all the collectors of the state to declare holiday in all the schools of the state from 25 April to 15 June in view of the severe heat and heat wave conditions in the state. This instruction should be strictly followed in all the schools. After the instructions of the Chief Minister, the School Education Department of the state has announced the date of summer vacation.
Chief Minister Shri Sai has said that this decision has been taken keeping in mind the health safety of school children in view of the heat. In compliance with the instructions of the Chief Minister, the School Education Department has announced summer vacation from 25 April to 15 June 2025 in all government, non-government, aided and non-aided schools of the state.
It is worth noting that the summer vacation in schools was announced from May 1 to June 15, now it has been revised in view of the intensity of the heat. It has also been clarified in the order that the summer vacation is only for students and it will not apply to teachers, the duty of teachers will continue as before.
