Review meeting on the progress of schemes under Sushasan Tihar concluded in Raigarh

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has said that the concerned officer or employee will be held responsible for errors in revenue records. If any wrong entry is made from the login of an officer, strict action will be taken against him. The Chief Minister gave these clear instructions in a review meeting held under Sushasan Tihar in Raigarh. He told the officials that it is necessary to make the revenue system accountable so that the public does not lose faith in the administration due to errors in people’s land, farming, or other documents. He directed that the revenue officers should keep special vigil on the error correction work.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed displeasure over the long pending incompleteness of the Laat Nala irrigation project and directed to complete it soon. He also asked to complete all the pending projects under the Atal Irrigation Scheme on priority. The Chief Minister also directed to remove the ban on land registration in 26 villages falling under the Gomarda Sanctuary area.
Chief Minister Shri Sai asked the officers to visit rural areas regularly so that small problems can be resolved immediately. He clarified that now the districts have become smaller, so the officers should take out time and visit as many villages as possible. The Chief Minister directed that farmers should not face any kind of problem in collecting fertilizers and seeds. In view of the possible shortage of DAP, farmers should be informed about alternative measures. He also asked to motivate farmers for crop cycle change.
While discussing pre-monsoon preparations, the Chief Minister directed to keep sufficient quantity of antivenom medicines in hospitals to deal with snakebites. He asked the Municipal Corporation and administration to remain vigilant to prevent diseases like dengue and jaundice in Raigarh Municipal Corporation area. The Chief Minister took the complaints of illegal liquor in the plain districts seriously and directed strict action. He said that there is a need for special monitoring to stop illegal movement of liquor in the border areas adjoining Odisha.
In the meeting, topics like silk production, improvement in ground water level, tourism development, road repair and promotion of Jan Aushadhi Kendras were also discussed in detail. The Chief Minister said that all of us public representatives and officers are servants of the public and public welfare should be our top priority.
Agriculture Minister Mr. Ram Vichar Netam, Finance Minister Mr. O.P. Choudhary, Lok Sabha MP Mr. Radheshyam Rathia, Rajya Sabha MP Mr. Devendra Pratap Singh, Municipal Corporation Mayor Mr. Jivardhan Chauhan, District Panchayat President Mrs. Shikha Ravindra Gabel, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Sunil Jain, IG Mr. Sanjeev Shukla, CCF Mr. Prabhat Mishra along with senior administrative officers and district level officers of Sarangarh and Raigarh were present in the meeting.
