Instructions to collectors to run revenue courts regularly

Chief Minister held a review meeting with officials of three districts

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai has instructed the collectors to resolve the revenue related problems of the common people quickly. The Chief Minister has asked the collectors to conduct revenue courts regularly and also fix a day for the resolution of revenue matters. The Chief Minister said that so far 19 districts have participated in the surprise inspection and solution camp to take stock of Sushasan Tihar. The feedback received from the public makes us proud that the benefits of our government’s schemes and programs are reaching the people for whom the government has made plans. The Chief Minister told the officials that working with teamwork should be our commitment to build a developed Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister was addressing a meeting of officials of Kawardha, Bemetara and Durg districts at the Durg district headquarters today after participating in the surprise inspection and solution camp in Durg district.
While addressing the officers, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that all of you have done good work with active participation and hard work in Sushasan Tihaar. All of you have taken a pledge and worked to solve the problems of the citizens, this is highly commendable. He said that the percentage of solution of problems and complaints of the general public is better, which makes it clear that we are working for good governance and betterment of the general public. In the last one and a half years, we have done many good works, for which we are getting good feedback from the public.
The Chief Minister said that all our schemes have been made keeping the common man in mind. Shri Sai said that good work done in public interest is always appreciated and we will also reward the officers who do good work. At the same time, if negligence is found in the implementation of the schemes, then accountability will be fixed on the concerned officers and strict action will be taken.
The Chief Minister further said that wherever there is a problem of drinking water, proper arrangements should be made to solve it. He asked to start preparations from now keeping in mind the seasonal diseases of the rainy season. The Chief Minister said that for water conservation, farmers should be encouraged to adopt crop rotation and special efforts should be made to promote the cultivation of low water consuming crops like pulses and oilseeds. Shri Sai said that camps should be organized regularly in future also for the speedy resolution of pending cases related to revenue.
The Chief Minister said that the problems arising due to Aadhar Card and e-KYC of the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana should also be resolved speedily. He said that the cases of undisputed transfer should be resolved speedily and immediate relief should be given to the people affected by natural disaster. He reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in detail in the meeting and gave guidelines regarding the disposal of applications received regarding housing under Sushasan Tihar. The Chief Minister directed all the officers to establish inter-departmental coordination and complete the pending construction works of roads under construction and government buildings within the time limit.
The Swamitva Yojana was also reviewed in the meeting. Also, income generation activities and arrangements for training of drone sisters under the National Rural Livelihood Mission were discussed. The Chief Minister said that a strong arrangement should be made for the training of drone sisters so that women can become self-reliant by connecting with technology. The Chief Minister said that with the approval of a large number of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, avenues of employment have opened up for women. Women of the group are earning good income by renting out the setting plate for construction. He said that we have to continuously work on all such possibilities to empower women. The progress of card distribution under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the status of institutional delivery, deployment of skilled birth attendants, and the current status of sickle cell screening were also reviewed in the meeting. The Chief Minister directed to improve the quality of health services and intensify awareness campaigns in rural areas. He said that the inlet routes of ponds and small water sources should not be blocked, so that rainwater can be collected smoothly and the groundwater level remains maintained.
The Chief Minister directed for effective implementation of the laws of the Indian Judicial Code so that the concept of justice is fully realized. The Chief Minister said that the technology based provisions included in the new laws should be ensured to be properly and fully utilized so that the judicial process becomes more transparent, quick and effective. He said that crime is increasing due to intoxication, strict steps should be taken against it. He also directed the officers to take strict action against those driving vehicles after drinking alcohol. Shri Sai said that the police should have the information of all the tenants and special instructions should be given to the landlords for this. If the landlords do not provide the information, action will be taken against them. Chief Minister Shri Sai directed the officers to compulsorily maintain the village level register so that when the officers are transferred, the new officers can also get information about criminal activities and suspects.

N Rathore, IG Mr. R. G. Garg, Collectors of all three districts, Superintendents of Police and senior officers were present in the meeting.
