Appreciation of excellent work towards women empowerment

Governor Shri Ramen Deka met the women self-help groups of village Godbahal under Pithora block of Mahasamund district today during his stay there. On this occasion, the Governor appreciated the work being done by the women self-help groups and encouraged them for business. He said that whatever business women do, they should do it with full dedication and quality. Maintain mutual cooperation and avoid internal competition.
The members of the women self-help group told the Governor that their group is engaged in milk production. A member of the Jayshree Mahila Group gave information about her business of bag manufacturing. Madhuri Patel gave detailed information about the group’s expertise in handicrafts, and Gomti Patel gave detailed information about milk production.
Handicraft products were presented to the Governor as a souvenir by the women’s groups. The Governor appreciated the work of the women’s group and praised the efforts being made towards women empowerment. Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh was also present on this occasion.
