Summer season has started and in such a situation the most comfortable fabric is cotton, Kota Doria and Lenin. These fabrics not only make you look stylish but also protect you from heat. Today we are going to tell you some easy ways by which you can always keep your Kota Doria and Lenin sarees looking new. Read More – If you want to make your children all-rounders, then follow these tips and teach them good habits.

Take care of Kota Doria sarees and suits like this

Kota Doria sarees and suits are in trend these days. These give you a very stylish look in the summer season. To ensure that its shine remains for a long time, it is important that you always get it dry cleaned, but if you wear Kota Doria sarees and suits regularly at home, then doing this every time is not a pocket friendly option. Therefore, initially get your Kota Doria saree and suit dry cleaned three to four times. After this, if you need to wash it, then wash it with mild shampoo. This will not reduce the shine of this cloth. After this apply starch on it.

How to take care of Lenin’s saree, suit and shirt

Be it Lenin’s sarees, suits or shirts, this fabric looks very royal. It remains about 3 degrees cooler than other fabrics. However, it is not easy to maintain it. Still, you can make this difficult task easier by adopting some tricks and tips. If you want to wash Lenin fabric at home, then mix salt in normal temperature water, now soak your Lenin saree or shirt in it for ten to fifteen minutes. Now wash it with mild detergent or shampoo. Keep in mind that always wash dark colored fabric separately as it can leave color. After washing the saree, do not squeeze it, because squeezing it breaks its fibers. Simply put it in a sunny place to dry.

It is necessary to apply starch

To maintain the shine of cotton as well as Kota Doria and Lenin sarees, applying starch is an important step. For this you can adopt easy methods at home. You can apply rice water or arrowroot starch.

rice water starch

For this, cook one cup rice in two cups of water. After this, filter the gruel through a fine sieve in a bucket. Mix two mugs of normal water in it. Your starch is ready. Now dip any cloth on which you want to starch it and leave it for ten minutes. Then squeeze it lightly and dry it in the sun. You will see that your fabric has become as stiff as before.

arrowroot starch

Making arrowroot starch is very easy and its results are also very good. For this, take one big spoon arrowroot. Take quarter spoon of wax in it and make its solution. After this, slowly add hot water into it and keep stirring the solution continuously. Now cook this solution on low flame until it thickens. The starch is ready. After it cools down, dip the saree in it for 10 minutes and then take it out and dry it in the sun.
