Last farewell given to martyr Mehul Bhai by shouldering his body
Said – The supreme sacrifice of the martyred soldiers will not go in vain, we will fulfill the resolution of complete destruction of Naxalism

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid emotional tribute to martyr CRPF Cobra Battalion constable Shri Solanki Mehul Bhai Nandlal who displayed indomitable courage during the anti-Naxal operation in Usur area of Bijapur district and gave him a final farewell by shouldering his mortal remains before it was sent to his home state. Chief Minister reached the 4th Battalion Chhattisgarh Armed Force campus at Mana today and offered floral wreath on the mortal remains of the martyr and saluted him.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai expressed his condolences to the family of the martyr and prayed to God to give them strength in this difficult time. The Chief Minister said that the bravery and patriotism of martyr Mehul Bhai will always be remembered. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the anti-Naxal campaign has intensified for the last one year and our soldiers have achieved great success by fighting Naxalism bravely. He said that we will fulfill our resolve to completely eradicate Naxalism by March 2026. The Chief Minister said that the martyrdom of the soldiers will not go in vain. The government stands with the martyr’s family and will provide them all possible support. The sacrifice of Constable Solanki Mehul Bhai reflects the highest tradition of bravery and dedication to the nation.
On this occasion, State Home Minister Mr. Vijay Sharma, MLA Mr. Motilal Sahu, MLA Mr. Purandar Mishra, Director General of Police Mr. Arun Dev Gautam along with a large number of public representatives, officers and citizens were present.
