Both teams reached the final after a big 4-0 win in the semi-finals

The Ramakrishna Mission Ashram Ground in Narayanpur is once again going to witness the youthful energy and passion for football, where the much-awaited final match of the Swami Vivekananda Men’s Under-20 National Football Championship will be played between Delhi and Mizoram on May 27. Both the teams have performed brilliantly in their respective semi-final matches and entered the final by defeating their opponents 4-0.
Delhi controlled the game against the Sports Authority of India from the start. The lead gained from Arman Ahmed’s header in the 15th minute of the match gave the team confidence, which they maintained throughout the match. At the start of the second half, Sankhil Darpol Tuishang scored a goal by breaking through the opposition defense. After this, Prashant Jajo scored the third goal by beating the goalkeeper, and finally Aditya Adhikari scored the fourth and decisive goal in the 65th minute to seal Delhi’s victory.
On the other hand, the Mizoram team showed both its attacking skills and balance against Meghalaya. They put Meghalaya on the backfoot by putting pressure from both ends of the field. After scoring the first goal in the 28th minute, Mizoram strengthened its hold on the game. In the 76th minute, Lalringheta got a penalty which he confidently converted into a goal. After this, Dantes Lalhriatpuia scored a goal after a brilliant move in the 83rd minute. In the stoppage time, F Vanlalchhanchua scored the fourth and final goal of the match, making Mizoram’s victory even more grand.
Both teams have remained undefeated in this tournament so far, and now a clash in the final is certain. Delhi’s attacking game versus Mizoram’s speed and strategic balance – this match will thrill the audience.
