Raipur . Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare Minister Ramvichar Netam has given instructions to take strict action against those selling fake fertilizers and seeds in the state. He has asked to cancel the license along with FIR if authorized sellers are found involved in this. Minister Netam has instructed the departmental officers to keep an eye on fertilizer and seed sellers, regularly test the stock, check the quality and standards and take prompt action on the complaints of farmers in this regard.
The government is taking seriously the increasing incidents of sale of fake (duplicate) fertilizers and hoarding in the state. Agriculture Minister Ramvichar Netam has said that providing quality fertilizers and seeds to farmers is the top priority of the government. Any kind of negligence or illegal activity will not be tolerated in this. He said that strict legal action will be taken against any trader or authorized seller found involved in the sale of fake fertilizers and seeds. The licenses of the culprits will be canceled with immediate effect and necessary legal action will be ensured by registering an FIR against them.
