Obtained information about the schemes being run in adopted village Temri

Chhattisgarh Governor Shri Ramen Deka reached Bemetara today on a two-day visit. He gave the message of environmental protection by planting a Maulshree sapling in the Circuit House premises under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
Governor Shri Deka held a meeting with the district administration officials in the meeting hall of the Circuit House and inquired about the development works. He took detailed information about the schemes being run in the village Temri of Navagarh development block adopted by him. In the meeting, he inquired about the progress of other basic facilities including education, health, drinking water, agriculture, horticulture, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
While giving special emphasis on promoting organic farming, the Governor said that there are better possibilities of organic ladyfinger farming in Temri village. He motivated the villagers to produce organic ladyfinger in their gardens. The horticulture officer told that the environment of village Temri is suitable for ladyfinger production.
He said that it should be ensured that every person in the adopted village gets the benefit of government schemes. He directed the CEO of the Janpad Panchayat to regularly monitor village development and work in mission mode to develop the village as an ideal village.
During the meeting, the Governor was informed about three tuberculosis patients in the village, on which he personally announced financial assistance for six months of medicine.
Apart from this, Shri Deka also announced incentives of Rs 5.5 thousand to eight meritorious students.
The Governor met the members of Shriram Weavers Cooperative Society Devarbija and gave necessary instructions to the Collector for the repair of their building and solution of other problems. He also met the players who won medals in the National School Sports Competition-2025 and wished them a bright future. At the end, the Governor was thanked by presenting a memento to him.
