Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Lord Jagannath’s Rath Yatra. On this auspicious occasion, he has prayed to Lord Jagannath for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of all the citizens.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Rath Yatra is carried out with great pomp and reverence at various places including Puri, the abode of Mahaprabhu Jagannath. This journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Mata Subhadra is a strong symbol of cultural unity and harmony of India.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that since ancient times, the people of Chhattisgarh have had deep faith in Lord Jagannath. Along with Utkal Samaj, every year all the people of Chhattisgarh take out the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra with devotion. This great festival is a symbol of devotion, faith and faith, which inspires us to walk on the path of unity, harmony and service.
