Smart kits to 50 schools of Jashpur, Chief Minister calls education revolution a milestone

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today inaugurated the Sampark Smart School and Smart Block program at Bagiya High School in Kansabel development block of Jashpur district. On this occasion, Sampark Smart Kit and TV were also distributed to the children of 50 primary schools of Jashpur.
On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Shri Salik Sai, Kansabel Janpad Panchayat Chairman Smt. Sushila Sai, Shri Bharat Singh, Shri Upendra Yadav, IG Shri Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, SSP Shri Shashi Mohan Singh, National Manager of Sampark Foundation Shri Pradeep Rana, Deputy Collector Shri Prashant Kushwaha, public representatives, school children and teachers were present.
While addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that as an innovation, Sampark Smart School has been started in village Bagiya.
Chief Minister Shri Sai, while recalling his childhood days in his address, expressed happiness that as an innovation, Sampark Smart School has been started in his native village Bagiya. He told that he received his primary education from first to fifth standard in Bagiya Primary School. The Chief Minister said that 50 years ago, Bagiya School used to have tiled roofs, in which water used to drip during rainy days and due to dripping water, the place had to be changed. But today, after 50 years, Bagiya School has been completely transformed and at present a high school is being run here.
He said that in earlier times, after primary school, one had to travel a long distance to study in high school, but at present, engineering colleges, medical colleges and national level education facilities are available in Chhattisgarh to provide quality education to children.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that education is the only fundamental mantra through which the overall development of a person is possible. Teachers are the builders of our nation, who play an important role in making us good doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists and professors. He said that the founder chairman of Sampark Foundation, Shri Vineet Nair, has been the CEO of HCL Technologies. He started the Sampark program taking inspiration from his mother, who was a teacher in a government school. This program is making a valuable contribution in the learning and teaching of children in states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Sampark Foundation is providing Sampark TV devices and Mathematics and English kits to make education easy in a playful way, which are being distributed in 50 schools of our district today. Chief Minister Shri Sai said, I am hopeful that these kits will be used to the fullest in schools. This will not only remove the hesitation of children but will also make the process of learning and teaching easier. Therefore, all the head teachers should understand the method of using these resources well and give children opportunities to move forward.
It is noteworthy that like previous years, this year also 15 students of Jashpur district have increased the pride of the district in the entire state by securing a place in the top 10 merit list in the 10th and 12th board examinations. 94 percent of class 10th and 94 percent of class 12th students have passed, making Jashpur the district with the highest pass percentage in the state. Along with higher education, the district has also performed excellently at the primary level. The district has left a special mark at the state level by registering 99.5 percent result in class 5th and 97.3 percent result in class 8th. For the smooth conduct of educational activities in the district, the department is conducting orientation programs for all the head readers and principals at the district level under the direction of Chief Minister Shri Sai. To promote scientific thinking, various programs are being organized by tying up with ISRO, IIT and other reputed institutions. The attendance of teachers and students is being recorded daily through the app. Continuous monitoring of the daily routine is being done and the process of rationalization has been completed to improve the educational system in all the schools of the district. In the same sequence, FLN kits are being distributed through Sampark Foundation for basic literacy and numeracy (FLN) of the students of 50 primary schools of the district, which will prove to be a milestone in improving the educational quality of the district.
