Governor Shri Deka honoured him and gave him an incentive of Rs. 10,000

Drone Didi Smt. Godavari Sahu, who has created a new identity in the direction of women of Chhattisgarh becoming self-reliant, was honored by Governor Shri Ramen Deka by presenting a memento at Raj Bhavan today. On this occasion, the Governor also presented her an incentive amount of Rs 10 thousand and praising her work, said that she is a true inspiration for rural women. On this occasion, Secretary to the Governor Dr. C.R. Prasanna was also present.
Godavari Sahu, a resident of Nagar Panchayat Sargaon in Mungeli district, is working as Namo Drone Didi. She adopted modern techniques by moving away from traditional farming and started spraying nano urea, DAP fertilizer and pesticides in the farmers’ fields through drones. This not only improved the yield of crops, but also saved time and labor.
The Governor said that this journey of Godavari Sahu shows that if there is determination and innovation, then rural women can also become self-reliant and can inspire others to move forward. Godavari is not only improving her life, but has also become a partner in the progress of the surrounding farmers.
