Raipur. On the initiative of Planting Promise Group, about 250 saplings were planted today in the campus of Balco Medical Center Naya Raipur. Anima Mary Khalkho, Dr. Swati Tiwari, Bhumika Sahu, Bhushan Sahu, Surabhi Nahta, Vanshika Bhansali, Darshana Mohre and Toran Singh Thakur, along with their families, actively participated in this tree plantation program on behalf of Planting Promise Group.
Dr. Bhavna Sirohi, Dr. Alok Swain and Siddharth Saxena from Balco Medical Center made a special contribution in making this program successful. With the spirit of making the earth green, Planting Promise Group has been doing the work of tree plantation and free distribution of plants since the year 2024. Till now, about 3250 plants have been planted and distributed free of cost by Planting Promise.Dr. Swati Tiwari, who started the Planting Promise Group, is working as a Finance Manager in the State Electricity Transmission Company. She says that if we all pledge to plant one tree each, we can make the entire earth green. Tree plantation is very important in today’s polluted environment and we all should participate in it enthusiastically.
In the near future, the Planting Promise Group has set a target of planting about 1500 trees in the areas around Raipur such as Abhanpur, Chandrakhuri and Saddu.
